Korero from the Deputy Principal:
Kia ora Koutou,
I am honoured to have accepted the Acting Principal position for term 3. In my forth year of Deputy Principal at Reporoa Primary, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside our talented staff, dedicated whānau and community, and amazing students. As Acting Principal, my focus will remain on strengthening those relationships, supporting our learners to thrive, and ensuring our school continues to be a place of excellence, growth, and belonging. I am very committed to ensuring the school continues to meet the educational needs of all our tamariki and to ensure they are safe, happy and thriving. Richelle and I are working closely together for the rest of the term to handover all aspects of the principal role.
This week I am very fortunate to be going to a Rural Principal Conference for 3 days so you won’t see me around. Please feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions or concerns. My door is always open.
Wow! what a fantastic day! at our school cross country! thank you so much to Whaea Tanissha all of our amazing staff for helping set this day up. Thank you to our community who again chip in to make these days possible. The hot chocolates from our whānau Group went down a treat. Hope the parent bodies aren’t too sore after the parent/teacher race! We would love your feed back on the day since this is the first time we have run cross country this way. Please get in touch with me (Nikkole) or Tanissha.
nga mihi,
Nikkole Fell
Thank you Whānau Group

Eat Right, Be Bright!
This morning we had a visitor called Vaz who talked to us about eating healthy food like vegetables, fruit, dairy and protein. He warned us about junk food and unhealthy foods that have lots of sugar and salt. We need to make sure our school lunch boxes are full of healthy foods to help us learn. Vaz did a cool magic show with some animals to deliver his message.

Cross country
Wahoo!! What a fun day it was. Thank you to all the whānau who showed up and supported our tamariki. The positive vibes and colourful atmosphere brightened up the dim cold weather with everyone having a great time. Well done to the parents who competed in our first ever teacher/parent cross country race. 1st went to Mr Webby, 2nd Jamie Williams and 3rd to Mr Mo. A big thankyou to our whanau group who supplied our runners with a much needed hot chocolate after their races. Another big thankyou to our whanau who supplied the reels, standards and much loved hay bales.
Cluster Cross Country
This has been postponed until Thursday 5th June.
Ngā mihi nui
